I obtain mine either through my nutritionist, Whole Foods, or Natural Grocers Market. I am so happy with the Designs for Health magnesium (chelated) supplements from my nutritionist that I cannot buy my magnesium elsewhere. I try to get as pure ingredients as possible, and the ladies on this board have indicated that magnesium stereate is an additive that is to be avoided.

I get a lot of mine through my naturopath, but some through health food stores after I look into them.

We buy quite a few through Vitacost. Way cheaper than retail in Canada.
