Hey Merilee.  I haven't been on much lately.  I have been busy trying to exercize and get back to my old self.  I havent gained much weight, but seem to be larger around the middle.  I am thinking it is from the tamoxifen???  My eye brows did fall out as did my eye lashes, but they grew back in pretty quick.  They are not the same yet, but they are looking pretty good.  I am scheduled for my nipple reconstruction on Sept 7th.  They are doing skin grafts from extra skin they left during my mastectomy under my arm area.  Hopefully they will have enough for  both aerolas and nipples.  I am going to have fat grafting as well , and he is going to do some revision work on both sides to help with some shape issues.  I was so diligent with finding out all I needed to know before my BMX and my exchange surgery,  I have not had time to do that this time.  My husband injured his leg and had surgery and is in an immobizer for 6 weeks.  I have been busy taking care of him and trying to get everything done before my surgery.  I hope you are doing well!

Merilee,  Thanks, and I made it through surgery.  I had expected  a lot  of pain, but so far not too bad.  I have been taking pain pills but might see how I do with out them.  So far the biggest inconvenience has bee itching.  after surgery my chest area was itchy, and i just figured it was the gauze under the surgical tube top, but later on i was itching all over. I took two benedryl caplets, and most of the itching stopped.  I fee really burned under the arm on the side where the extra skin was.

I will be coming home this afternoon after i go back to the plastic surgeon to let him check me out.  maybe i will get my first look!  Hope you are doing well, and not flooding there like is around here.  Take care and hope you doing well
