After a year and a half of not having any follow ups for my DCIS with loose cells in my lymph nodes I get to see another oncologist who is willing to work with me.  She was Shocked that I was discharged from  care without any further testing, not even blood work, to keep track of me.  Phew. This makes some of the stress of not knowing more about DCIS (except for Beesie's wonderful articles about it) go away now that I know I will be seeing someone who is willing to follow my progress.

Met with my new oncologist.  She said the last oncologist should have been following me all along.  She knows him and cannot figure out why he did not follow me.  Anyway, I will be followed for the next 5 yrs, see her every 6 months at this point, and follow up with lab work.  I feel so much better now.
