I was recently diagnosed with IBC stage 3C TNT. Are there any long term survivors that can PM me. I'm in need of support!

I was dx with IBC Stage 3C TN. I was NED for a year and a half and now was dx in Oct w/ Bone Mets. I am a survivor. The IBC is gone. So happy...the new development I am not. The chemo they used for me have been working. That is a positive thing. Even on my mets. My first dx was in 2008. It may not be as long as you wanted hear. I am a survivor and fought the good fight. I did my chemo first my tumor they removed with my mx was 12.5 cm. Also did radiation. I had reconstruction a year later. I am very happy with the results. I wish you the best. You can do this.

I am a survivor 8 years. I was diagnosed in 2003. I had bilateral radical masectomies, bi lateral oophorectomies. 2 rounds of chemo, pre op and post op, followed by radiation. Except from side effects from radiation which is  hypo thyroid, and manageable lymphedema from the removal of  lymphnodes, all has been well. My tumor was estrogen negative so no hormonal therapy followed. I opted to have reconstructive surgery that included the latissimus dorsi flap and 2 saline implants, because I was a young mother. I am cancer free today, I wish you all the best, remain optimistic and keep your mind healthy for the battle of a lifetime.
