Bone mets: does the pain come and go or is it steady?

Options

I have had an ache in my hip for about two weeks. I can't say it hurts, because it doesn't. It's only slightly bothersome, actually. I am hoping that it's due to a strenuous (new) workout that I did three weeks ago, plus I have also been working out on a recumbent bike (new for me too)..I did stop doing the video and bike over a week ago though. My left hip aches from time to time...maybe 2-3 times/day and it goes away completely when I lie down.

I have heard that bone mets gives you a constant pain (?) I also notice that it is at its worst in the morning when I first wake up. I also sometimes have aches in my lower back, as well as shoulder area and sometimes my side. On my bad days, I imagine the cancer returning and spreading everywhere, right down to my toes! :-O

Does this sound like mets at all?

Kim it sounds like it's muscle strain from your workout. That being said I think it is continuing from the stress you are putting yourself under worrying about mets. Maybe you should give your doctor a call just to get peace of mind. hope you feel better soon.
