Vitex and ER+ PR - subtype?

Hi - there has been some conflicting info... Is Vitex - Chaste Tree ok for ER+ PR- cancers?  I would like to get rid of the hot flashes....

I took vitex for 2 years before the diagnois -I cut it out prior to chemo along with all other vitamins on the doc recommendation..... At the time - he just had me cut out everything that wasn't a prescription for another condition.

Any thoughts? I will ask him, but he does better if I give him studies that say yes or no....
