Hi...I had my tissue expander removed and an implant put in (March 2011) plus a new nipple.  But I'm not overly happy with the results. I don't know if I'm being fussy or whether this is as good as it gets - is there somewhere on this site where I can view pics of successful reconstructions?    Also I had the mascetomy in Oct 2009, they used a muscle from my back to construct the new boob - the scarring on my back is quite extensive, the scar is almost 1 cm wide in some places, is this normal ?    I feel terrible for being so vain, as I should just be grateful for still being alive, and my consultant has been brilliant, so I feel bad about critising her work!

I was wondering how you were getting on when I discovered your post about your reconstruction. I do hope all is well now. You have not posted on the Calling all TNBC in the UK for a while and we were wondering how you are. Hope to hear from you.
