I started treatment thinking that I had to be one step ahead of my onco and my body. I was wrong. Surprisingly, I have done better in chemical menopause and femara than to be in regular peri-menopause with tamox. I get lupron monthly and take femara. I feel like a 90 year old woman but at least I don't have my horrible periods. Also, no depression! I take 75 mg of effexor for hot flashes, and it helps more than you can imagine!!
