Any Latinas out there?

I wonder are there are any Latinas out there that would like to discuss BC as it relates to our culture?

I am originally from Puerto Rico but live in Southern California. I find that  due to our extended families we feel that we must be very brave and not scare the rest of the family. My family is very supportive and I can discuss some of my feelings with them but they all ask is BC hereditary and will I or my kids develop it? I have a male cousin that lost his mother to  BC and he is having a real problem dealing with my BC. Also, have a female cousin that asked me who else in the family has had cancer and I had to tell her two aunts, which is worrying her a lot. 

How is your Latino family reacting to BC? Have they tried to get you to see a Santero, or an  Iman healer?  Do they bombard you with questions? Let's discuss!
