Breast Prothesis Donated/Poor

I have recent surgery and purchased a bra for prothesis inserts. However, I have priced them and I can not afford them. Both me and my husband are out of work at this moment. Does anyone know where I can find someone that donates them to needy women. Please help me, I am so depressed. I  had size C's breasts. check with your insurance. Mine paid all but 80.00 of my prostheses and swim ones and 2 bras. Have your doctor write out a prescription.

My insurance paid the whole cost of prosthesis and 2 bras -- you do need a prescription from your doctor.  If your insurance won't cover, maybe purplemb has something for you, as SoCalLisa suggested:

Try the National Cancer Society or contact the Look Good Feel Better organization, they may have connections to help with the breast prosthesis.

I have 2 bras and a nice set of prostheses I am getting ready for TE surgery this week so I won't be needing them , I am in spring texas. I have wigs, hats scarves etc... I would love to hand them over to someone who needs them. When I was diagnosed my husband had lost his job and it was so hard to deal with. Check your Private mail.
