Q re hotflashes on TC

Hi ladies, I am new to this site. I just started the TCx4 regimen last week. So far, the side effects haven't been too bad. However, I was wondering when do the hotflashes start, and if they last for the duration of the chemo. If anyone can share their experience, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I noticed night sweats a few weeks into my taxotere and cytoxan treatment.  I had 4 treatments and finished on 5/4.   Now I am having hot flashes  during the day eventhough I am done with chemo.  I start tamoxifen this week so who knows how that will effect things.....maybe more hot flashes and night sweats - who knows!  I still get some night sweats too.....it's all so fun (said sarcastically of course).

I started the hot flashes and night sweats about TC X3. I am 21+ weeks past chemo and still get about 3 flashes an hour during the day and several at night. Not everyone is the same so hopefully yours won't last so long. I am not on Tamoxifen as I'm triple negative.

Yes, still getting hotflashes. Chemo ended 2/3/2011. FUN!

Hopefully after being a year out the hotflashes will stop.

I started hotflashes after tx #2.  Fortunately or unfortunately, they only occur at night.  They wake me up consistently at 3:00 am
