Feeling kinda helpless...

Past 6 wks. have been a whirlwind.Sister diagnosed with pre cancer,had lumpectomy & biopsy.Was found outside margins.2nd. lumpectomy&removal or 6 lymph nodes breast clean,3 of 6 nodes traces of cancer.Doctor says no mastectomy,radiation treatments.Doctor is with her ins. group,which she had never used prior to all this.Just started job & became insured.No breast cancer in family,so all 5 of us sisters are new at this & not doing well.Sister w/ cancer is following docs. advice,not open to discuss much with family.We all know someone who has had bc & all say "remove the breast".We respect her,it's her body.We love her so much & want the best for her,but we feel helpless. Every time she goes in more is found .It's so hard  to sit back & watch her go through all this.One of 5 sis. just flew in for moral support,I live near her & have been there for everything& will continue to be.Anyone else been in this situation?
