    Hi Ladies,

I'm almost 2 years out from receiving the nipple reconstruction cylinders and sadly, they have shrunk considerably. Projection is minimal, at best. Although disappointed, I am still thankful to have had the opportunity to receive the cylinders at all. Currently, I am considering visiting with my PS about this but not very optimistic that anything more can be done. If anyone has had a good, sustained result with nipple reconstruction via another means, I'd love to hear. Best of luck to you all!

Bummer Daisy. Thank you for sharing this info. I still havent decided on what route to take, so I can rule this one out I guess. You are very kind to come back and share.

    Ladies,

just wanted to come back and post an update. I find this forum so incredibly helpful, I hope this update is as useful.

After realizing the nipple reconstruction cylinders were being absorbed by my body, my wonderful PS determined it best to try again, this time utilizing fat grafting. We grafted fat from my stomach and back of thighs. The PS injected the fat back into the nipples and thankfully, it worked! It's been 6 months since the procedure and I have not lost projection. It's literally amazing what fat grafting can do! I highly recommend this procedure for those looking to gain projection. If I still have access to the picture forum, I'll update my images. Best of luck to each of you! #TeamPinkFist
