Hello ladies! This is my first post! :-) I'm Carla and I'm 25 years old. I was dignosed on 2009, on my birthday...I had neoadyu chemo, masectomy, more chemo (grgr) and radio. In August I finished my treatment and started with tamoxifen and leupro (an inyection per month).

So far I feel great, I'm working in a cruise ship, travelling the world. Now I'm on vacations, and went to visit my doc. This Tuesday I have my mammo and I'm super nervous ! Yell The doctor touched my breast, the common thing and asked me things like: does it hurts? Etc...I said no....so he said that everything seems good. That's why I only have the mammo, but as soon as I left the hospital, EVERYTHING started to hurt.

Anybody felt like this before? I know is just my mind, but I need ppl who understand me. I am eating like a pig, because I'm soooo anxious!!!!!!!!

 :-))))))

Welcome, Carla,  When they take away our estrogen everything hurts anyway.  I know how it feels to worry about the aches and pains.  I had chemo before and after surgery like you did.  I'm an ILC girl, too.  I'm a lot older than you, though.  It's good that you have found us and I hope you will come back.  Hugs, G.

Welcome, my birthday is the day after yours 24th!  I think our minds do that to us all the time, especially in the first couple years.  I'm just out of tx, finished rads in Apr and have issues myself with that.  Congrats on 18 mths.

    Hi Carla,

Congrats. on a year and a half.  I'm a little behind you -- just one year also with 7 nodes.  I hear you when you talk about the dr. It's like they plant that little seed and wham you start to feel everything and doubt yourself.  Lately, everything hurts on me also. I think I am definitely suffering from Sherri's "canceritis" . I'm told it will get better.  You sound like you have a wonderful job! And, welcome to this board.
