Is This Cancer

I was just diagnosed with LCIS and my doctor didn't explain clearly what this meant.  He only said it's not cancer, but in some forums it is considered cancer.  Also he told me that my option was to be put on tomoxifen.  I'm scared and I don't which way to turn with this because my family members don't really want to listen.  I fell all alone right now. 

I just started the mammograms three years ago, and every year they have found something.  I've had three needle guided biospies, and also this was the second lump in two years that has been removed.

    I thnk you should get a 2nd opinion. Just the fact that your doctor hasn't explained things clearly would send me looking for a 2nd opinion. I'm not saying switch doctors… but a 2nd opinion might make things clearer for you.
