Ok a little mix-up today but it will be ok

Praise: I got financial assistance for the oncotype test - we don't have to pay for it. Got approval this morning.

Bad news is with all the mix-up between departments they didn't do the final test on the tumor so it won't be ready til 5pm tonight. Said they wouldn't do the final testing until I either paid for it or got approval for their assistance. Oncologist is going on vacation on weds and we are in Florence :-P so....... Oncologist will call me tomorrow over the phone with the results... hope it is good news or I will never go to Florence again. (Florence is where I was when I got the call that I have cancer).

We were on a three wk. vacation on our boat when I got the call that I have cancer. It wasn't long before we sold the boat!

Seriously, I'm hoping you really enjoy Florence...cancer tx. decisions will wait.  And congrats. on getting assistance for the oncotype test. Take care, Gma.

The score is in and I am in total shock!!! It was an 8!  Never seen anyone with one that low... God is good!  No chemo just rads and anti-hormone therapy.  With all my drug allergies, I was really scared on what chemo would do to me... so I am so happy I don't have to go that route!  Thanks for all your prayers and encouragement....
