Hi ladies,

I just wanted to let you all know I'm running a contest on my blog, http://www.butdoctorihatepink.com.  You can win a copy of Sheryl Crow's new book.  It's full of healthy recipes and as you know, Sheryl is also a cancer survivor.   She decided to eat very healthy post-treatment and worked with a nutritionist come up with these recipes.

As you can see, I'm a regular member here, not a spammer.  I just would like somebody from this forum to win the book!  I've gotten a lot from being here and it's my little way of giving back.

Thanks and good luck.

I love cookbooks and went to your blog which by the way I really enjoyed reading.  But how do you post on it.  Could not figure that one out.

Click on the comments section underneath the post. It should open up a box. You can just be anonomyous if you want, and when I draw names, I'll use the timestamp if an anonymous person wins.

I'm going tomhavemanother contest soon too, I'll also post it here.

Thanks for doing this give-away. I got the book from the library but have only flipped through. Anyone have opinions on the recipes? The tone seems helpful w/o being overly complicated it (the way some cancer-related cookbook can be)  I was surprised that there is so much soy, but I guess the verdict is still out on that. Love all the photos.

I was a bit surprised at the soy recipes too, so I did some research, and a lot of doctors are saying soy is okay for you.  She may not have been ER+ either.  There are enough receipes that even if you don't want to eat soy, you can make them.  I made a bean soup the other night with chili corn bread that was yummy.

And yes, it's still soup weather here in California.  :(
