I just got told i have breast cancer still doing scans to see what treatment i will have . So far heres what i know INvsaive ductal carcinoma
Estrogen receptor +
progesterone rec+
HERZ-(normal)

Now should i be on those birth control still ?? I dont want to get pg but  i dont want to feed estrogen to my body anymore than i have. DOes birthcontrol have alot of estrogen ?  HOw are you all preventing becoming  pg if you dont take it ? When u have chemo is that asure way not to need birthcontrol ? I am a lil confused.

My ob/gyn took me off my bc pills as soon as I was diagnosed. We use condoms. Not sure about the chemo part as I didn't do that. I can't help but think my longterm bc pill use may have contributed to my cancer. I'll never kno tho!

I was on the birth control shot when I was diagnosed and was told immediately that I couldn't take birth control pills or shots or any hormone treatments for menopause. My partner and I dont' have actual intercourse (I don't like sex with condoms). We do a lot of touching, kissing,oral sex, and he bought me a vibrator. We do a lot of experimenting.Sometimes I miss the feel of actual intercourse, but I would rather do what we are doing than the use the condom (he also has e.d. and condoms seem to lessen his ability to stay hard enough). Our sex life is also affected by my post mastectomy pain syndrome.

I go to my doctor tomorrow guess i better question this . If i am not on the pill when i get my perods i flood hope i get through  test before the flood.
