Brain mets

Well here I am again. I was dx with triple negative bc on May 22,2009. I thought I had vertigo and

Went in for a head CT and they found 3 tumors. They r removing 2 with surgery and the smallest with gamma knife radiation. I had my first surg Thursday and my 2nd surg is Monday. I will go home, heal for a week or so and then have gamma knife radiation on all 3 spots. Im not even 40 and cant believe this is where I am in my life. Cancer isnt anywhere else in my body so we dont think chemo will b required.

Can someone give me some positive advice. Maybe u know someobe who had brain mets but is now cancer free many many years later? Something? Anything?

Tabatha - I don't have brain mets, but maybe you can post on the Stage IV board, as there are many women there who can offer you support and advice. I know several of them are doing very well after being diagnosed with brain mets. I think they can offer you lots of hope!
