Hi Wonder if anyone can advise me, I was diagnosed in January 2008, I actually went in for preventative mastectomy as I carry the BRC2, when I came round from the op I was told that they found four tumors, cancer.  My mum died 31 years ago at the age of 47 my sister was diagnosed in 2003 (shes doing great).  Lately I have been feeling very very tired and I have do have some aches in certain bones.  I went to see my surgeon a few months back as I thought I could feel a ridge just at the side of where my breast used to be, they did a scan and assured me that it is nothing.  I have just had some blood tests done and my ESR has come back at 44, last time it was tested it was 16, I have been told to have another test in a month to see if it is still rising but I am worried that if my cancer has returned a month is too long to wait, im 50 and in the prime of my life and enjoying every minute, what do you think ?

I just thought I would let  y ou know that my ESR goes high than low than high again.  My Onco says not to worry about this.  But an high ESR can indicate an auto immune disease,
