Do you wear a bra, outside of the house?

Just curious I don't usually wear them in the house and used to never wear them until the lumpectomy and they are uneven.....

Blondie, when I received my stage 4 dx with mastectomy recommendation I thought it would finally be my chance to not have to wear a bra anymore. I told my plastic surgeon that an A cup would be fine. Well, the implant side is just that, but even after the surgery on my remaining breast to make it look more like the foob, it is still nearly twice as big and an inch or so lower. A bra  makes that less noticeable, so here I am, still wearing them, and faced with another surgery to achieve symmetry, so far I am too annoyed by the prospect of more time wasted  recuperating, so bras it will be for a while at least.

I had BMX with TEs in Dec 2010, I have not worn a bra in or out of the house since then.  They are fully expanded and symetrical, they do not move, no need for a bra.

I have a BMX in 2008.  I wore a cami with puffs for about 6 months.  I stopped wearing it & only wear fake boobs on special occasion's only.  NJ

ITs almost 4 months since my bilateral with immediate reconstruction, and they do not move. So now for the 1st time, I sometimes dont wear a bra for my size "A". ITs more comfortable on the sides where  their is still swelling and beneath the breasts are to not have anything on the scars.

I do wear a bra for work!

    take care!

Hi there.  I do not wear a bra in or outside of the house with exception to special ocassions-weddings ect where article of clothing has darts sewn into bust line.

       I had bilateral 7/09.  Stage1, grade 2.

I just find the silicone forms are hot.  I recently ordered some forms called Bosom Buddies,  Not as hot as silicone, and lighter, washable, adjustable (weight wise), and made from cotton type of fabric. So will try these now for special ocassions ect.

I don't wear a bra at ALL anymore. Why should I, when I no longer even have breasts? LOL

I've worn a bra exactly once since my BMX 2.5 years ago.  The old D cups worked great to smuggle some refreshments into an outdoor concert!  Who would dare!

    KSkier, you crack me up!

I always wear a bra when I go out, and do so almost all the time in the house BUT I had a unimast.

I'm an AA cup so maybe I should buy some D cup bras for a smuggling operation....

Around the house, I never wear a bra.  Generally when I go out, I have wonderful sports bras that I got for biking and spinning classes.  I mostly wear these.  For something really "important" I will wear a bra but remove it as soon as I get home.

I haven't worn a bra for 3 years, since my BMX.  I just wear a cotton undershirt so my clothes don't rub on me. NJ

I'm currently uni MX + DD. For work, yes, and with the rubber chicken foob. Stupid fitter didn't even balance them right but I don't think it's super obvious.

To run, even through crowded sidewalks I go without the foob and a DD sportsbra with one crushed cup, and that IS conspicuous. If people are alarmed, they can bite me. For run events with photos, I'm waffling. Just two more of those before reconstruction.

At home, mostly without bra. (But then, mostly in PJs!)
