Hi all,

I feel I am truly one of the lucky women who received excellent prognosis after the UMX: I have very tiny DCIS (0.1cm) with lymph node negative and margin negative. I do not need chemo and my doctor says I might not need to have Tamoxifen if we keep close monitering of my healthy beast.

It was quite a relief when I heard the prognosis. Now all I need to do is do the breast recon with fills and get on with my life and work.

I still feel easily fatigued and I really want to have everything go back to normal. But it also seems to be somewhat difficult to adjust to the busy life/work after three weeks of doing nothing.

How did you feel after you hear your prognosis and how did you adjust returning to work? I will be returning to work next week.

Thanks,

Bella

I went back on a half day basis for the first week.  That worked v well for me.  What is hard is well meaning people, who say the most inane things, so put a shield around yourself!!

    good luck
