Sorry if this has already been asked.

My family has a strong history of osteoporosis, and I had been getting towards the age of thinking I should get a baseline bone DEXA scan soon, yeah maybe, when I get to 50. Instead at 48 I found I had BC. Premenopausal and no obvious avoidable risk factors.

My tumour was ER+ so presumably won't be able to go down the HRT route. I can't quit smoking or drinking as I already don't do those. never done artificial hormones, and this year I lost my excess 15kg down to a "normal" BMI and now take regular exercise.  I'm doing that to reduce my BC recurrence risks, but hey if I'm going to survive BC, I don't want to get stuck crippled with osteoporosis instead and live in constant pain. What's a girl to do? Any advice?
