Oh no, I am so sorry for your loss. Eric's story was so upsetting. We are blessed that he shared it on this forum - who knows how many men he has helped and will help!
Sending you strength and prayers at this difficult time.

Emy .. I am so sorry for your loss. Eric was so wonderful on this site. He was such an encouragement to the other men posting.

Emy,
I'm so very sorry to hear of Eric's passing.
Please know you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Emy, I am so sorry to hear about your husband. His love for you and your chilren showed in his posts. I have shared with so many strangers and friends that men indeed do get breast cancer. It seems that often people associate this only with women. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Eric,
I am glad to hear you're doing okay. My story was quite different than yours in that I went to the doctor armed with a family history (my uncle died of breat cancer that eventually spread to his lungs). I was in surgery within a week (double mastectomy) and started chemo a month later. We're statistical outliers and then I suffered a rare cardiac side-effect from Taxol and stopped chemo three weeks early. I am so glad its over.

Emy,
I am so sorry for your loss. Eric's story is the kind that needs to be told to the general public. There are only one or two thousand of us diagnosed each year, but that is still a large number, many of whom won't have doctors who responded as quickly as did mine. I was lucky, in that I knew about my family history (my uncle died of breast cancer that eventually spread to his lungs) when I found my lump. I joined this site to learn a bit about my post chemo recovery and Eric's was the first I saw. I am so sorry for you and for your family.

Emy -- again, I am so sorry for your loss. I hope you will feel free to return here if we can be of any support to you.
Charles -- I just wanted to say welcome (to the club nobody should ever have to join
), and don't hesitate to reach out on threads about chemo and other relevant issues, even outside of this "Male BC" forum.

Thank you, Ann.
I am still recovering a bit from the shock of having read Eric's thread. No, I did not want to join this club, but none of us did. I will be somewhat active here ... at least as far as reading the posts of others. I have a lot of questions, but thus far, my issues are relatively minor. -
Emy, I am so incredibly sorry. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
-
I am so very sorry. My deepest sympathy to you and your children.
-
AMY, I am so sorry for your loss of Eric. He tried , his docs just didn't listen. Thought of him often didn't realize that you were here. PM'd with him a couple of times re: other members that needed help. Wonderful man. Again sorry. sheila

I'm so sorry. Deepest sympathy to you and the children.

Boy, I was reading this thread not looking at the dates! I am so shocked and saddened by it's content.
Emy - I am not sure if you ever check back, but I am so sorry for your loss.
