I have been diagnosed but my 1st appoint with the breast cancer specialist is May 12....   Pain is what made me pursue doctors visit.  Do any of you ladies have pain. I find it feeling like stitches and a deep low throb.  Even my back shoulder blade is hurting. It also hurts down my arm too.

Just want to know if this is normal.

I have been taken regular otcmed.

Thank you

Breast cancer doesn't do everyone the same way.  Usually, if you have a B/C lump, it is painless.  The throbbing and pain down the arm makes me think something in there is inflamed,  It may be related to B/C, or it may be something separate.  Hopefuly, you will get some answers next week at the visit.

I think my breast is inflamed some because it is warmer than the other one. Not much but I can tell and it is very tender.   Waiting for my first appointment with the bc specialist on May 12 seems a long way off.

    thanks

I did regular breast checks and did not feel anything in March.  On April 13th the outside of my right breast was tender to touch and when I pressed in harder, found my mass.  It remainded tender to sore until it was removed via my mastectomy on the 5th of May.  Best of luk to you Pil,

I am 41. I had a bilateral mastectomy on may 3 with diep flap reconstruction. My breasts were fine from day one. I had an episode of fat necrosis happen on July 7. My ps cut open the abdomen to get out all the fat necrosis. He left it open to heal & closed it up finally on Sept 1. Since then there has been weekly visits to get a seroma drained. It has now been 8 weeks after closing up the abdomen and the pain is at it's worst. Ultrasound showed a pocket of 1 of 3 things: fluid of some kind, blood accumulation or fat necrosis. I can't see my PS until nov 9. has anyone else have this happened to. I'm getting really concerned b/c the pain in my abdomen is at it's worst yet!!
