Hello,

my sister was initially diagnosed with TNBC and underwent 7 months of chemo and had a masectomy ast month. Her results form the chemo were very good, all three tumors had shrunk to over 1/2 original size. However afterall three were biopsied they discovered that only one had been triple neg. and the other two are ER+. We are wondering if anyone else has had this diagnosis or has infomration on it?

I think someone on the tnbc foundation site had this.  She takes tamoxifen for the hormone positive invasive cancer.

I had two tumors, one TN, the other very slightly ER+. I am taking Tamoxifen, even for such a small benefit, as long as I dont suffer from bad side effects. My MO thinks some tumors start as ER+ and switch to TN.
