Am back in the hot seat, waiting for the surgical onco to call with complete pathology results after hearing from my plastic surgeon that recent pathology was "suspicious" and "abnormal".  A little background - I was diagnosed in Feb '10 with infiltrating lobular cancer on the left side and with DCIS on the right.  Opted for a left mastectomy with reconstruction and a right lumpectomy with radiation.  (One positive lymph node on the left).  In March, I finally had surgery to reduct the right side to match the new, perky left sreconstructed side.  Rolling along, feeling like it was finally getting to be over when - whammo - the call from the plastic surgeon.

Am now waiting for a phone call from my surgical onco after the team "roundetables" the pathology results.  Or, if she doesn't call, I have to wait until Thursday for the appointment they insisted I make.

I see no way that this is not a bad scenario!! And am freaking out. Cry

Sue - yeah, this is from the tissue removed during the reduction on the right side.

JBin - Sorry about your DX.  That is exactly what I am afraid of.  Still waiting for word from the onco surgeon
