Biopsy of Neck-BREAST CANCER!!!

Hi to All!  Just got home from oncologist. YUCH!  Had a biopsy on neck and results came as breast cancer!!!! I just finished chemo in dec (had mastectomy in oct, also in dec. of 04), and had chemo this time because of onco type being 21.  Okay, that didn't work.  My onc. wants me to have a pet scan, have nodule removed and see radiation oncologist.  Anyone with similar story? PLEASE CONTACT ME!!! NEED TO HEAR FROM SOMEONE!!!!

    Hi Shari.  What did they biopsy then, a lymph node or swollen nodule from your neck?  Where in your neck - back front?  Do you have severe neck pain and headaches?  Could you provide more info as to how you came about your diagnosis?  It's scary to think your chemotherapy didn't work?  I'm interested in finding out more about your situation as I also have continued neck and shoulder pain.  I'm so sorry to hear of your diagnosis again.

    I am so sorry you had such scary news yesterday. I wish I could help you with some information; but I have none. I just couldn't read your note and not respond. You will be in my thoughts. I wish the best for you.
