Change of mets status to triple negative

Has anyone experienced a change in receptor status from the original breast cancer to mets? If so, did your treatment plan change in line with the new status?

My original breast cancer was er+ (pr- her-) but I now have mets in lymph nodes in my neck that are triple negative. The mets appeared at the end of Chemo (3x FEC, 3x docetaxel) before we even had a chance to do mastectomy. I started on radiation and zoladex before we got the results of this biopsy with a plan to go onto tamoxifen after radiation. My onc wants to continue zoladex for now since I am not having any adverse side effects, but I am not sure what this means for the rest of the plan... If anyone has experience with this to share that would be great.

Thanks, Kirsty
