Finished Treatment...and one year out!

I just want to encourage everyone to not give up...to be patient...(yes it is so very hard to keep waiting for results...for surgeries....for tests) but remember...there are so many sisters who make it through this and we come out the other side much wiser and so very thankful.  I know I've learned to be much more patient in general since my diagnosis (over a year and a-half ago).  Here is what helped me:  Keep records of everything; do not listen to negative comments; be hopeful and expect to live; be diligent; be patient with everyone...including husband/partner/kids/co-workers; accept help when it is offered; don't push yourself and try to find some ray of hope in all things that you do.  A positive attitude really seems to help...have no scientific reason why that is so.  Many survivors will tell you the same thing...maybe because they are survivors...
