Hey girls:

Just a few weeks ago I was on here celebrating 7 year cancer free since diagnosis!

Well, I am now freaking out. My good breast starting to ache along with my armpit on that side. I waited a week and then went to my family doc. She examined me and found what she called  2 "swollen lymph nodes"  just above my mastectomy scar, and lumps in my good breast. She is sending me for ultrasounds of my mastectomy side, my good breast and underarm and my liver.

I am most worried about the lymph nodes on my chest above my scar. This was very unexpected to hear they were there. But she took my hand and I felt them too.

Has anyone ever heard of this?

My imagination is flying into darksville...... help....

No, I've not heard of this but I was told to do chest examines (had BMX) on both sides.  I"m BRCA + though so I stand a higher chance.  Let us know how it goes, we're here.

My mother just found a smalllump near her scar as well. She had an ultrasound and all the tech said was "it's a lymph node." I'm not sure what this means....I'm wondering how you made out?
