New to the club lung and liver mets!!
Just diagnosed lung and liver mets. I was told I have numerous nodules in lungs and lymph nodes and a few in my liver. Find out tomorrow what my treatment plan is....right now I'm paralysed with fear! I knew I had a chance it would reoccur was just hoping I would get a little bit longer lke 10 years! I'm her2 ++ but I couldn't take the herceptin for very long because of heart issues, I just hope I can restart it again. I guess I'll know more tomorrow. I've lurked for a couple of years just reading your stories I just hope I can be just as brave and courageous as you all seem to be.

Hang in, Linda. One day at a time. I am sure they will have a treatment plan for you. Stay positive.

Hi, Linda, hope you're doing alright. They found nodules in my liver, and my onco started me on Herceptin plus Navelbine.
Just remain focus on LIVING, doing things you enjoy, and the treatment will go well. We have to maximize our energy on healing, so that we don't waste energy panicking. Know it's easier said then done - I had my moments, but try to get through it and get on with healing. It's our body telling us that we need to pay more attention to ourselves, to live happily.

Thank you both. I now have my treatment plan I'm doing herceptin plus taxol, so far I've done one treatment and it's already working as I've finally gotten rid of a persistent cough I've had for two months. I'm trying to take one day at a time although it is hard especially now that I'm losing my hair again, but I'm not giving up the fight!
Hugs,

Linda, I'm glad to hear you already are having a good response to the treatments.
I hope it continues.

Good luck, Linda! I'll be joining you soon with treatment for new mets.
How are you feeling now that you've been with your treatment plan for awhile?
-
Linda,
How have you been doing? Have you been feeling ok with your treatments?

Donna,
Thanks for asking, the herceptin has been making me nauseous but I've been handling the taxol fairly good, just a little neuropathy. I go for my first ct since dx around the 22nd of this month so I'm hoping for good results.
Hugs,
Linda
