Night garment recomendation
Hi ladies. Can you share your experiences with any night compression garments you have? My LE is mild and I have great luck with MLD and my daytime sleeves. I actually haven't wrapped at night for quite a while. Now that the weather will be warming up I know my arm will not like the heat and I'd like the option of just pulling something on when necessary. The products available are overwhelming so any advice or recomendations you can share would be appreciated. My LE therapist has mentioned Telesto, but their website is not very good. I've also gotten info from Reid Sleeve, but they have SO MANY choices. Help!

Hi, Alex:
I have the best luck with wrapping. I have sent my Solaris Tribute back to the company and they are very kindly reworking it for me. I'm going to see if it will take the place of the bandages, but so far, that's the gold standard for me. -
Alex, I'm a wrapper also, but I own a Jovipak and a Solaris--overall, I like the Solaris better--but my swelling is in my hand, and it's just not working for me lately. The company CEO has a lot of good suggestions for me to try--she really trys hard, and I'll try putting in some swell spots.
I tried to deal with Telesto, and it didn't work out. Don Kellogg, the founder, created the whole concept of night garments, and they seem to have sleeves down, but had no idea what to do about a hand...
Reid sleeves can be bulky, but they also have a lighter line--the Opera line.
I hope more women chime in.

Alex, I don't need a lot of compression at night, and I am delightfully happy with my Caresia arm sleeves with a Bio-Care universal jacket over them.
I also have Bia-Care Compresleeves that I like, and I also have Measure-Up sleeves by Circaid.
My biggest problem with the compresleeve and the measure-up is the velcro sticking to the blankets at night! I have tried them withthe Bia-Care universal jackets over them, and that really helps.
Unfortunately, this whole night sleeve business is hit and miss as to what works best for each indiviidual and their needs--
While Reid Sleeves are very comfortable, they are really bulky, and I have found that the Opera Line is just not quite enough compression for me.
Good luck finding what works for you--we all do eventually find the best product to fill our needs--just hang in there and don't get too disappointed--you will find something that works for you--trial and error, my dear.
You will find the right product!
Let us know how we can help!!
p.s. I do not have swelling in my hand, so what works for me may not work for others.

Alex, I do agree that the gold standard is wrapping. And on the other hand, that can be hard to do regularly, so the night garments are definitely handy. I also find them helpful for evenings at home when I'm having a flare and am uncomfortable.
Both Solaris and JoviPac offer extra compression jackets to go over the garments. Jovi considers theirs essential, while Solaris considers them an add-on for extra compression as needed. My own preference is for Solaris over JoviPac for functionality, though Jovi has some lovely soft fabrics. You can even wrap with short-stretch over either of those on flare days.
Both Solaris and JoviPac garments can be stuffed into a plastic bag and stored in your refrigerator during the day for extra cooling on hot nights. Even helps with hot flashes
.
Let us know what you decide on and how it goes.

Thank you, thank you! You all are amazing. Based on your comments I will look into your suggestions and hopefully head into summer ready for anything. I love the thought of cooling it off in the fridge Binney - I did that with my flip flops last summer and it was 15 minutes of heaven for my feet. I'm not dreading summer so much anymore. Bring it on!
