Leah, Happy Passover to you--I got the potato starch and we'll have a gluten free seder. I'm going to make the brownies, and our supermarket had gluten free matzoh!

Happy Passover!  Now that I have LE, I gotta admit that I am taking a real dislike to Passover preparation.  Spent most of Friday and all of yesterday cooking and cleaning.  Not surprisingly, my arm is ache-y today and my hand chubby.  A week of too much rich, meat-heavy, salty food is not going to improve things.  My garments don't like Passover much either.   I knew it was going to be a bad arm day, so I wore my brand-spanking new custom sleeve.  I was so careful, but somehow a drop of olive oil splattered on the sleeve.  It is not a big spot, but I am very annoyed with myself.  Anyone have any clever tips on removing oil from gloves without hurting the elasticity?  KS

PS Kira, did you see the NY Times article about whether quiona is Kosher for Passover?

KS--I only get the Sunday Times, as our local paper is down to sound bytes. Was it in the food section?

My best ever holiday was Easter 2009, which was also Passover, ten days spent in Israel culminating in Jerusalem. Totally Awesome. Six months later I found I had cancer, and now between LE and security issues, flying has got a whole load trickier. I am so, so glad I went when I did. But I'm going back one day, I just know it. Thinking of all my sisters - Peace to you all.... and Next year, Who knows where?!
