Difficulty finding right bras and vest tops

Options

I don't know if anyone else has this problem.  Now summer is on the way I am struggling to find the right tops to wear.  My bra size is 36G and so my prosthesis is quite heavy.  When bending forward the prosthesis falls away from the chest wall by a long way, so tighter clothing is better.  However, as a curvy lady, it isn't always what I want to wear.  Underwired mastectomy bras in that size are almost impossible to find, and even then finding the right fit is dificult.  The non wired bras tend to dig in in the centre of my chest below the breast.  During the winter I have been wearing a good fitting underwired bra without pockets and when wearing higher necks, it doesn't matter if the prosthesis is a little higher than the top edge of the bra, as it isn't visible.

Although I haven't found an answer to the bra problem, I have overcome another problem re everyday shoe string strap vests.  I haven't found any with built in cups in my size and not many have adjustable straps so I have found that wearing them back to front is preferable.  If the label stitching is visible, either sew a ribbon over it or sew lace along the neckline.  In the summer I spend much of my time around the Mediterranean and not wishing to spend a fortune on clothing  this seems to be the answer.  In my opinion, it also looks much better than adding cami inserts.

I thought I would pass on my suggestion to others who may have the same problem.
