Newspaper Ad in LA for LE Surgical Practice

I was recently in Southern California. My MIL showed me a special b/c section of the newspaper she'd saved for me and pointed out the half page ad for a plastic surgeon who does LE surgery - lymph node transfers, lymphaticovenous anastomosis (microsurgery to join lymphatic channels in the affected area directly to nearby veins so they can drain) and lymphatic liposuction.  That second technique sounded especially interesting. 

I'm not inclined to jump on this bandwagon yet, as it's all still too unproven for my comfort levels and I have early stage LE.  But it's interesting that LE is now growing enough to the point where it is worthwhile for surgeons to begin to specialize in it.

Was just reading up a little on this and am interested. I think I'd prefer this route vs. lymph node transfer for I wouldn't want to compromise my lymphatic system any more by taking nodes from another area. Any input? Thoughts?
