Breast MRI - Strange Question

OK. I had my annual breast MRI this morning and have a strange question. Sometimes during the procedure while the machine was clanging and thumping away, there was a spot on my left hip that would seem to pulse/vibrate at the same pace as the sounds and then would stop. This seemed to happen every time the machine changed noises.

Obviously my mind goes to the worst possible cause - mets to my hip that were reacting to the MRI. But when doing a breast MRI are the hips even in the field of imaging?

I know this sounds crazy, but have any of you ever experienced this?

Thanks for any input.

the hips aren't in, but if you were at all canted on the table or if it wasn't the most stable thing (they are on casters) I should think it had everything to do with the bumps and banging and the mechanics and not your mechanics!

Those things are not as fun as they make them out to be (jk).  sounds lke the one you were in could use a tune up.

Obviously, I'd mention this to the radiologist and or your onc anyway.
