3D mmmogram

Hi ladies:

Is anyone in this forum who have some information about 3D mammogram.  For what I read  is the last thing in technology for mammograms  and for example here en MA, they are only available at Mass General en Boston.

These are not located in MA but in FL in case FL residence want to know where to find 3D mammograms.

I believe these sites peform them:

Wuesthoff Hospital Melbourne FL and Advaced 3D Diagnostics mammography center Orlando Florida 930 S Orange Avenue.

I hope these are correct and help Florida residents in the Orlando area.

The FDA gave approval to a 3D mammo system for the first time in February.

It is not available many places yet but that should be changing rapidly.

3D mammograms-Hologic 3D mammography approved Feb 2011 by the FDA for commercial application. Available at Mass. General Hospital March 2011 and Women's Center for Radiology in Orlando April 2011.
