I've read about those tiny homes. They look neat, BUT!!!! Seems they all have a loft for the bed, and a ladder to get there. I'm too creaky, Spookie might fall out.

This very small area is highly unusual in that all the mobile are on their own property, NOT in a park, with lot rents, restrictions. Etc. it's just like buying a site built home, no HOAs either. I won't do a condo, town home type of community.

Don't tell me what color to paint my place, what kind of window treatment I can have. Don't tell me how many dogs, what size and breed I can have. Don't tell me I can't fly an American flag. Don't tell me I have 3 leaves in my yard, and the grass needs cutting.

How can people live in places like that?

    Blondie, come on down!!!!

GOOD Job Chevy, Thought that post was a bit strange. What was it?

It's so clean...... here. Love the post cleaning feel and smell of a house. Not that I had much to do with it. My DI is so wonderful. She makes my life so much better. I hate housecleaning like Rosie hates the word Sorry.

I got rid of one of the spawning beds. At least it made it to the car. Next stop Salvation Army.

Rosie, I heard about tiny houses on talk radio. I'll check them out.

Susan, I saw when you posted about the LE. Good Luck. Yup, the lifting could be the culprit. It's a damned either way scenario.

Smarrty in your pocket tomorrow :)

ok...I have a silly, but very annoying (for me) question. Why does everything ball up inside my fittedsheets when they are in the dryer?????????????

Susan- Yes why is that???? Happens here too! The worst is when you realize that underware is stuck in your pant leg and heading down to your ankles and you are out in public... oy... Ackkkk

Chevy I knew something was funky about that post. SO I clicked on the name and "she" just enrolled that day, no mention of BC treatment or squat. Plus the tag name and insomnia for 10 years and now you want help? ...hmmm.. I thought about being rude and saying something icky like - "nice try..." But often when you first start the BCO you are a teeny bit retarded getting everything straight and in the right place, so I didn't want to be nasty and scare a legit person off. Good for you for asking the Mods to check it. Now you can have a detective badge to add to former pole acrobat! Cami will be jealous... can't wait to hear the banter!

I am sitting here all worried. Every time I clean the canary's cage the poor old boy goes nuts. You would think I was trying to kill him. He flails and gets his feet caught in the bars hangs and looks dead. So I gently picked him up and put him on the floor of the cage. He needs his nails cut but he acts like we are killing him so everyone is afraid to cut them. He's been laying on the floor of the cage now for 1/2 hour! His eyes are open and he's still breathing fast. I hope I didn't scare him to death he's old, probably 10 at least. ugh.. I will feel so bad if I cleaned his cage and scared him to death.

Spooky! I just noticed 4 leaves on your lawn.... what's up?

Okay, yes, me and Rosie saved us all from doom.... Rosie was ready to go after them with her broom... but I stopped her just in time.... She was going to beat the chit out of who-EVER that was that invaded our little corner here.... We DO get detective badges now.... Cammi is just going to lose out.... It was probably some man.... even..... you just never know...

Susan, We have king size sheets, so they're an entire load by themselves. One day I put the fitted sheet in alone and it still managed to ball up and not get dry. Maybe the fitted corners cause some kind of wind vortex or something?

Ok I am on my break now, so can write.

Mommy, I am glad you let it out. I usually feel good after a good cry. How exciting it is to learn about your ancestry. My parents both lost their parents early, so there is limited family history. Found out last year that my great grandmother was half French.

Holeinone, I have to be careful when I use my I phone to send post, especially long ones. It sometimes acts up and swallow my messages. I have lost a few already. Moving can be so stressful. We are thinking about downsizing too when the kids go to college in a few years.

Ms Blondie, have you been out late at night dancing again? Take it easy. Try not to over exhaust yourself too much.

Ms Chevy, your Brandon sound so sweet- shoving the snow so he could be sure to make it to the airport in time to see his loving grandma...what a blessing. I often wonder what my grandparents are like. Never got to meet them. You living life vicariously on the fast lane? I can imaging you getting excited watching Nascar.

Susan, I developed cording, which is a risk factor for lymphedema, from carryinga vacuum upstairs and a heavy box. Oh, your sheets ball up in the dryer too?

Rose, it's wonderful that you are creating good memories for the kids. I wish to do the same for my two girls. Btw, I love green modular home...don't have one tho.

Ms Spookie, ouch. Hate UTI b/c it can be so uncomfortable and painful too. I was going to say drink lots of cranberry juice, but realize that you have history of high blood sugar (right?).

I don't know why but time seems to fly when I am on BCO. Want to hang out, but need to go back to work

Susan-go to page 795 and down near the end are 2 posts one from me and one from Chevy addressing hbgmysite who asked about "treating insomnia she had had for 10 years and she was thin." The post above mine is deleted and removed. I thought the address was odd. So I clicked on it to reveal the person had just become a member that day, posted no diagnosis, no treatments zip. I wondered if it was bogus and wasn't sure. You know someone hoping to sell you something etc. Chevy caught it too and went to the mods. So that's what all that was about... now the original post is gone so Chevy and I sound crackers... We are safe from magazine sales and herbal remedies, snake oil and extract of eye of newt! Just kidding..

Susan, they are right I saw it too, and then linked on her web site. It was a very strange connection. Didn' follow breadcrumbs---too scarey. Afraid of computer viruses.

Mommy -----go girl , you're having fun with it. I have a 2nd cousin who traced the paternal Gf's side back to Ireland. The GGGF was tossed out of Ireland for his political beliefs at 13. Not uncommon in that time. The Limey's had control. The joke in the family is we came by our 'character' traits rightfully.

Morning gals... Yes, HiHo.... Cammi hasn't posted for 4 days ANYWhere! Man, I can't even tease her, since she is feeling badly! She posted this on the drinking thread.... I have to write her again....

"I'm still getting my D and I'm throwing up too, I did see my Onc. and need a test on my head--no not my brain, there's no hope there, it's my skull, but I've been so sick I can't even get to the hospital. LOL my cousin's been in the hospital with fluid in her lings, so she's all messed up and my sister I think is getting depressed some. All my strong ones are falling apart and I talk to my sister like every day now for 1-2 hrs, and then I'm just so tired so I haven't been on the puter at all except ffor work, which is picking up---I still have an infected tooth and can't eat LOL U'd think I'd loose weight but NOOOOO, never-- good thing I'm not so hungry but whatever goes in goes out pretty quickly, I'm not complaining, really I'm just trying to splain why I'm not here and I miss u guys and yet I just get to tired. It's never because I don't feel like sharing with all of u, cuz this is where I come to complain."

I sent her another email.... I'll let you know if she answers.... GEEZ! Just one thing on top of another!

We went to see Theresa (our older friend) yesterday.... I feel so BAD for her.... She is in that Assisted Living, but Eddie (93) was moved over to a Nursing Home/Hospice.... and she just feels so ALONE. Their Son is always around either Eddie or Theresa, but she has gotten to the point where it hurts her more to go see him...

He isn't doing well at all, and is mostly sleeping, not eating, and not much anyone can do.... She was telling me this while we were there, (I talk to her everyday on the phone) but she just sobbed, and I went over to her and hugged her and she just let it all go......... I finally said "Can I go back and sit down now, or you want me to hold you?"....... She finally laughed, and I said "My back is killing me, and I have to sit down!)

Then we started talking about Dancing With the Stars, and she started yelling about what those gals DON'T wear....! I just cracked up! I said "is there ANYthing that isn't pissing you off right now?" And she just laughed! So she tells us about this other man who sits at their table, but he got too mean, so they had to move him to another floor, where he isn't around too many people! SHE WENT TO SCHOOL WITH HIM! Haahaaaaa! She said she was going to beat the chit out of him, but didn't want to get into TROUBLE! I told her "I ain't going to go to no jail to visit you, so you just better cool it!"

Oh well.... I just wish life were different some times.... Things you have to go through..... Anyway.... we make each other laugh! That's gotta mean something!

Hi ladies! Trying to catch up (only weeks and weeks behind). Would love to address everyone personally, only have a couple minutes.

Blondie, does your city have transportation for seniors/disabled? Ours offers it low-cost, schedule ahead, door to door. Have seen many with shopping bags. Only catch is, has to be scheduled for door to door. We also have regular city transportation but that requires walking to a bus stop (and the closest one is a couple blocks away, not great for hauling shopping bags). Do you have a local senior center? Maybe give them a call, explain your situation, ask for suggestions? Hoping they can help you.

Missing everyone, hoping to catch up soon. Love and hugs to all who need them or want them.

    Happy Tuesday!

Susan- come join the de-cluttering thread. I am cleaning out too! We help each other with suggestions for how to approach purging, where to donate, best places to shred stuff, etc.

I am working on the final frontier, otherwise known as the garage, right now.

Blondie- can you find a place to deliver your meds? I think there are places that will do that? Check with Walgreens, CVS, and others?
