Thanks Sass.... I KNOW! Sometimes I can't get them to post right... but I think I fixed it. Just don't get all en-tangled in "stuff" and make get-togethers simple..... No, I'm not smart... I just think about "okay, this ain't gonna work... what else can I do?" And if I back-off of something, or say things a different way, or give it "time", it helps.

My Aussie liked to watch Animal Planet. A bil dog liked to watch Lassie. Dog would get his chew stick, lay down and chew untill Lassie would come on screen. Then he barked

Chevy your sunrise is lovely and what you said about Sassy's issues rings true to me. Funny how kids get possessive. I see it even in some neighbors of ours, adult kids' reaction after Dad started dating. When I am gone I want my DH to date and move on. How my kids will react hmm.. who knows. How to dance so you don't step on everyone's toes.. not easy. I think kids have a mental picture of how they want their family to be and don't always realize how they feel about accepting "outsiders."

Tang-good luck on the scans! Prayers for you.

Our cats will watch cat clips if they happen to see them on TV. Our Siamese loves to attack the cursor on the computer..lol. It doesn't take much. Raining.. raining... stay warm dry. Tomorrow is the shortest day of the year... good to sleep in!

Scan is done.....but I forgot to bring my scan disk of my last one for comparison. I offered to bring it back up, but they said it would be okay. Am I the only one who tries to read into everything with this stuff? So is it okay because they can clearly see something is wrong?

I'm going to a Christmas party tonight at my dad's. It's just a small gathering and I hopefully by then my 5 year old will stop being in "bratty" mode. She's been a bear today. uggg.

    ((hugs)) everyone

SAS, this is for you. I don't remeber if you had alladerm with your recon but here's two photos, left and right. What you see are divots, on both. The really dark one is the purple magic marker that hasn't washed out. The lines between the divots is old scars from the breast lift. I'm concerned about the divots. They weren't there before. And it started with one on the outside edge of each one. Now both have two. What do you think? I don't see the doc until the 30. It doesn't hurt. I'm going into to ask Deborah also.

Smarrrty, Good ask Deborah---you know she's my go to gal. No question in this situation that someone with the question, that had been guided by Deb. She's seen and heard it all.

If my orientation to up and down is right...they are in the inframammary fold? ----Fold below the breast?  Where were the drains? how many drains did you have? If they are the drain holes they look normal.  The more centered of each(towards sternum) looks like old scarred down holes and the one to the sides(out toward arm) look newer and closing.  Drain holes general scar down and leave a divot like mark b/c they generally aren't sticthed shut after removal. They are allowed to heal from beneath. Because-----if you stich them closed they are more prone to infection...........because there was a foreign body there---the tube. Foreign bodies set the whole track up for infection.  It's better to let them close on their own.

My guess is b/c your foobs were so low slung after the first sx you didn't notice them? Is that a possible?

What I can say is I see no unusual redness. I see skin scarring.

If the two center ones to the sternum are from this sx, then they are ahead of the other two closing.

Come back quick---------just cuz I'm now concerned but they look good........

    No bruising, no swelling----------NO redness

Reread your post and cau.ght where you described the scar formation I'm seeing. Good saw it.

Until we talk some more relax The holes may be developing from scar formation. Until more info-------I like that there is No redness. No redness is GREAT!.  Is there any pain at the sight? Why did you look at them?(something bothering you or were you doing a self exam). A post sx self exam is good, can pick up problems early.

So far though not believing there's a problem -----------that is supposed to be a stress reliever. L&H&P's sassy

Tang, I would take it from the perspective that everyone involved knew you were waiting for the results.

The ideal is to have scan disks available for comparison. If you had the same previous scan at the same facility, they already have the scan in their system. When a disc is given to a patient, it is only a copy.

IF this was the first time at a new facility and a doc had a concern-----serious enough--- without having previous scans, they would call your doc.

Call your doc in the morning, I know it's Sunday, but they understand. If your doc is not the doc on call, explain it to the doc on call and ask "Please, I need to know, how can we do this". Sometimes they will make calls, sometimes they won't. You won't know until you ask.

But be prepared to have to wait until Monday---not nice, but better than January.

If the doc says wait until Monday, give yourself the most wonderful Sunday EVER.  You can't change anything if you get a negative on the doc checking . BUT you can change everything that you do and think until you get the results Monday. Enjoy the family to the max. Kick the fear aside

yes, at the imf. These are not from drains. The drains were up towards the armpits. And healing fine. Not sore, just was looking. I'm wondering if this is how the new IMF will develop? Haven't heard from Deb yet. Will let you know.

Tang, aren't little kids great. Mine always acted up the closer we got to Xmas. Really didn't like Xmas the way they were acting. Part of the reason I usually put up the tree late and take it down early. Hopeshe gets better. Must be the excitement, they don't know how to channel it.

Smarrty, Okay not drain holes, possible sx access for a reason. NEW to you. No redness, no drainage. Found on self exam. I would not manipulate the breasts more than twice a day for a look for skin symptoms. They seem to precisely located not to have been associated with something. If it were something brewing like an infection they would not be precisely so many inches apart---wouldn't happen. Must be sx related.

They just appeared? Two of four look old--------If there is bluemarker still  maybe she accessed for insertion of alloderm. She had to of made a mark for a reason.

But there's no evidence of skin infection ---happy thought.

Sas-I called the place where I had the scan and they said NOT to worry about bringing the other disk for comparison. I asked before I left and called when I got home and got the same no each time. I know its ideal for comparison purposes, so I'm not sure why they don't want it. I'm just gonna see what doctor says Monday about this.

We had a nice little party and I plan to have a nice day tomorrow :) Hoping to finish up shopping tomorrow evening.

I got to see 2 cousins that I haven't seen in a long time so that was nice.

    ((hugs))

Dear friend just told me she has cervical cancer extensive enough that requires  a total hyst &BSO---has had a CT scan, next is PET. She will have Chemo and radiation .She described that the chemo and radiation would occur befor the hyst.  I am clueless on guiding her. I looked at the net. There is nothing that comes close to BCO as a guide.

    Does anyone have a clue

Tang---if they saw something unusual they would want to compare it to a previous view. Their reaction says they don't see anything unusual. You must have gone to a new place?  That's okay. It's just nice having the same radiologist reading your stuff..

I always request two docs---Anderson or Mayer--------S* sucks---he missed my brain tumor twice--------

Perhaps, they have internet sharing of your tests, not unusual, b/c of insurance. You went to a place that was covered by you insurance?  They usually have agreements about sharing info.

Sass, I just know they treat SOME breast cancers with chemo and radiation first, and then do the surgery... They did this to my Doctor, and she had a double Mastectomy, and is fine... Also heard of this with some of the women on here...

Don't know about other types of cancer though..
