Good to hear MoMom! It's so good to cry when you are happy! Best feeling of all!
And Blondie is at the shore! Yay! We have no damn shore.... don't even have a beach, or sand or nothin'.... just freezin' cold weather.
But then on the plus side, we don't have any bugs of any sort EITHER now, Ha!
Morning Teka and Nettie! And Hi Foots! Glad you are here! anything new? Or knew? Ha, ha.... that was a joke I just thought of....
Teka, a new washer? Make sure you measure your old one.... I have to do that with everything to make sure the new one will fit in the old space!
Hi Bcky! YOU want one too! I would love one of those bright red ones I've seen! With all the gadgets and probably even plays music! And has lights and makes toast!
MoMom! You are happy? Good job girl!http://www.lshs64.com/enjoytheride.html

Good morning Owlettes, I hope everyone is doing well. Nice to hear Cami smelling like white snow
also, love the pic of the snow falling on Chevys house. It's cooler here in southern California with a slight chance of rain. I have been so busy lately, I have a sleep study scheduled for tomorrow night. I'm averaging about 4 hours of sleep a night. I need to find energy and time to start planning the holidays, Thanksgiving and then Christmas. Anybody start their Holiday shopping yet?
Hugs to all, have a great day. -
Good morning, Owlettes. It's a chilly 27º here, smack dab in the middle of the country. Expected high of 34º. And breezy. DH is working from home today for some reason, he went in to the office this morning then came home a little while ago. His car has been in the shop, which is just around the corner, and he rented a car so he wouldn't have to miss meetings. His car is ready, so he is walking to the shop to pick it up. Hope he wore a coat. I think we're going car shopping this weekend. Then I will get my old car back, which was originally purchased for me, but he's been driving it since I stopped driving. I think I'm ready to have wheels again. Who knows, I may even take my credit and debit cards back from my cousin.
So, about my visit with MO. It seems every time I go in I learn something new about my dx. Last time I learned that my non-tumor breast had atypical ductal hyperplasia. I couldn't remember what he called it but I asked him yesterday so I could write it down. And that's the biggest reason the radiologist wants to biopsy the two lumps on that side after the ultrasound last week and MO agreed although he's pretty sure it's just fluid. But since there's no guarantee that all the breast tissue was removed on that side, better safe than sorry. So he said he wanted to see me back in early January, and we headed out to make the appointment. As we're standing at the front desk, his nurse comes out and says he wants to see me again. Back to the exam room. He comes in. He was recording his notes, and saw something that reminded him of something, and the upshot is that he wants me to have a PET scan before year end, and see me the day after. So PET scan is scheduled for December 30 and I will see him on the 31st. And it's because of the lung nodules (which were pre-existing and unchanged) and (this was news to me) a couple of lymph nodes on the non-tumor side that were concerning. Lord Almighty! When will this cancer merry-go-round ever stop?
And, I have a bit of mild LE on the upper arm, so across the hall to the LE specialist. I have an appointment on Monday morning before the crack of noon. I'm just ready to be shed of this crap.
So, how's everyone else this glorious morning??

Very moving ceremony at 11am. They blew whistles from WW1 after the bells rang, for the beginning of the moment of silence. we then placed paper poppy petals on the alter of the bombed out Coventry cathedral
then we went to Stratford-upon-Avon to see Shakespeare's town!

About the same Mags. Yea for you driving!
Went to ortho for f/u on wrist. Appt was with PA. Who took for freakin ever to come in. He spent all of maybe 2 min with me, then sent me for X-ray. Did that, then my ortho comes in, says PA had to leave to see a doc! Then he says something about the break, said I could have surgery for it! Huh? That was a first! I said no, not in my LE arm, thanks.
Tech trimmed cast, more comfy. I need a nap, but must pick up grands. Ugh
-
Great pics, Jwoo!
-
Not only did I have good news yesterday, but so didn't my mom. Her cast came off and the pins were removed! Her fingers are a little stiff but she got a squishy ball to bring the flexibility back in the fingers that were broken.
-
Oh BROTHER! She smells like white snow! Where does that girl get all those ideas? She baffles me sometimes!
I try and de-cipher for her, but there is only so much one girl can do.
And she don't want US to use that term? Hah!
I LOVE that little Cammi! Like white snow? Believe me, no-one else will ever think of saying that again.... That's like recockulous... another Cammi-ism.
I am doing my drawers.... I mean CLEANING my drawers! AND the desk, where I FINALLY found my watch! It's a long sad story.... for me anyway. But I found it! I bought another one, but the point is, I LOVED this watch that I am now wearing for no reason, other than I found it, so it is new to me again.
See? I sound like Cammi now.
MoMom..... It is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo cold here! It freezes your nose hairs when you open the door! Now THAT'S cold!
Sass, she said "new" when she meant "knew" or something like that.... She didn't know what she did..... either then or now.... so don't even ask. We have to keep things easy for her....
Hey LittlePaws! How it's going with you? How is little Annie?
Mags.... A coat? We need several coats.... Ha! And boots, and a knit hat! Gloves are a necessity! I don't stay out there, other than to walk to the garage... But I have been IN for 2 days... Just too cold!
I don't think I know what a PET scan is.... Is it like a Cat-scan? Just let us know....
Wow! Beautiful photo's JWOW! You organize them perfectly!
And Spookie, who is in warm weather Florida.... Sorry about the cast stuff. I'm so glad I didn't have to wear a cast on anything with my hip. But I think that would have been impossible. They just wanted me to MOVE! And then move some more!
MoMom! You mean your MOM had good news too! And her cast is off! I'll bet she is glad.... Geez gals, we are falling apart.... breaking things, and we're just trying to stay in one piece!
Later Gaters!
-
Just not feeling it tonight! I'll catch up sooner or later! Until then, just saying hello to all! -
Down the shore didnt go to the beach it 70 today will b cold tomorrow, polar votex
Hey everybody
-
JWoo, Love the pics. You look like you're having a good time.
Mags, Don't you just hate them adding things to look at? I don't blame you wanting to be done. It's been a while.
-
Wren is it windy at your house? I hope footprint has power tonight.
-
Our day in Broadway in the Cotswolds. Doesn't get more English than this place!

hi Owlettes, just stopping by.
Jwoo, thanks for sharing your beautiful photos, hope you're having a wonderful vacation
Thinking of you...

-
-
Yeah Chevy, mom was very happy.
Just saw on the local news that we are gonna have the first snowfall of the season early tommorrow morning. Not going to see as much as my Midwest relatives got but it'll put me in the mood!
-
Morning gals! 222222222nd! I loved that "Hugs" on the other thread.... so glad you posted it here also!
And then I remembered when my DD came here last time, and I was so happy!!!..... I ran out there to meet her, and we just hugged each other so tight, and I cried, because I was so happy.... didn't want to let her "go"...
And for that couple moments, she was my first born... my baby girl all over again. Geez, I get tears remembering that...
You guys it is 11 below zero here.... So I don't wanna hear nothin' about how cold it is anywhere else, because I can BET it ain't as cold as here. Ha!
So now watch Spookie run out back and take ANOTHER picture of her house thermometer! Showing that darned thermometer bragging about itself.
JWoW! Keep on rockin' girl! Love your pictures!
I just went to pour my coffee, and looked at our indoor thermometer... It has warmed up to 5 below... Looks like the sky will be blue, so far... Now as soon as all this darkness goes away, I can tell more...
I am about tired of organizing drawers, closets, refrigerator and cupboards. I'd rather make a Wal-mart run.... So I'll maybe get all fancied up and we'll try that today... We'll just make a bee-line out to the garage and into the car, and pretend it is like maybe 32 degrees out... It's just GOT to get better!
-
good morning
-
I love those birds! *Hugs*
-
Chevy, I saw how cold it was our your way. Not fun at this time of the year, even the weather forecasters on my local channels said it was too cold for that time of the year out there! Stay warm!
