OMD, what a Butt. nice curves, Donnie's has none. Mine has regretfully blossomed to a big butt. Blame it on the Thyroid. Hormones, that's what's dun it. Not my fault . Honest. Never ete a carbohydrate in these last months. Honest . Well, there was that potato, maybe that ear of corn, like several times.
-
Omd Loverly, you have no idea what you reminded me of ........When my Mom turned 50, I said to her your a "Half a century old" I was like 16 y/o smart ass. Mom when I turned 50, said those words back to me. I looked at her and said "Have you been waiting all this time for that comeback". We laughed and laughed. Yes it was true. Laugh and laugh. The glint in her eye was so much fun.
-
Thank you Feline
Okay Shep, you hit most spots................errrh guys...............Sheldon is a fav. Thank you.
-
Good Morning Feline! ~ So sorry to "sandwich" your post between the skivvies. I blame Loverly. Her firemen didn't show up!
Beatmon and Mags look Fab! Time spent with dear friends is the best. Seeing your smiles made me smile too! Thank you for sharing 😊
Junie ~ Yay you! You are an amazing lady who is able to accomplish things that seem nearly impossible. It isn't right that we have to fight so hard for proper treatment. Grrrrr...
Hey Carolina Jay! ~ Yes, it's been quiet here. Summer I guess. I've not had much computer time but I try to peek in and keep up with everyone. Glad you woke us all up tonite!
Jazzy ~ Please stay with us! I miss seeing your beautiful pictures and reading of your adventures. You do the coolest stuff!
Micmel ~ So nice to see you here!
M0mmy ~ How awesome you got to see Ronda Rousey! She's smart to switch to wrestling - she can still be tough but not get all beat up

OH, I have been allowed to say Dear son Stephen and Jamie are pregnant. Due date is Jan29th. The baby is a boy. My nerdishness was in full swing. I looked right away at the best college 529 mutual fund. Then I realized. What a nerd. Kid is minus 13.(weeks).... 0 ..being birth point. Duh.OMD who ever heard of that description
When I was nursing Stephen, I had 5 resource moms. I had a problem. I contacted all of them. I was describing to another person the problem and I said I collated their information and made a decision. She pointed out how bizarre my "collated information" statement was. Serious nerd
-
Getting nerdy again, my mom was 34 when she delivered my sister and me.
I was 34 when I delivered Stephen.
Stephen and Jamie's baby should be delivered when they are 34..
Numbers wise, some very smart person should be able to put a ratio on that. Everyone glazes over on the comparison.
Maybe, I think this way b/c Mom and Dad used to bet the ponies (horse races).
Hmmm some one's going to be offended. It's mathematical based on millions(billions). That three generations of a line are born in the same year of age? I can raise the question, no clue how to get to the answer.
Such a nerd. I like Sheldon a lot.
-
Shep , it's 6:37, No clue why I'm still up.... other than pure stupidity. Didn't even attempt to sleep. Attempting to sleep often turns into sleep. But I didn't want too. But since it's getting light, I may attempt.
-
ShepKitty~ Waving hello to you! Thank you for the acknowledgment😊. Happy birthday Sas. Here is to many many many more 🍾🍾. Waving hello To Magda. 💐 💐💐💐💐... hugs
-
JunieB, when you land in Rochester you go down to get your luggage and then to the traveler desk where they arrange your car into the Mayo campus. You don’t call Uber or a Taxi there. They have that system in place. They are very nice at that airport. It is surprisingly small
-
Sas: how about the golden anniversary of your eighteenth birthday?
-
Hello Ladies,
I had a bit of a monkey wrench thrown into my day on Monday night. I went to the MO for treatment, ran an errand, watered my yard, then went to bed. After laying down I caught a glimpse of my right arm and there were many red splotches. I called my MO and they told me to call an Ambulance and go to the ER.
I had Cellulitis & Bacteremia in December and at the least I have Cellulitis again. The infection spread like wildfire over the next 3 hours, and they admitted me into the hospital.
Now I am waiting for the blood culture results. I have no fever, but my arm is swollen, hot and red. My face was really hot too, plus I was shivering like I was freezing.
I am on 2 antibiotics until the culture results come back. In the meantime I feel awful and my whole body hurts like crazy.
I'll check back when I know more. Bye for now.
-
JunieB- I am so sorry to hear you are in the hospital friend. Feel better soon!
-
Happy b-day sas
JunieB HUGS (((((((((()))))))))
Momma skunk & babies showed up today. I think they knew I was dog sitting & that he would have to be taken out for walks. Treading carefully.
-
Tanks Micmel, glad to see you here

Shep Thank you
Jaymeb you certainly did wake us up.
Mags and Beatmom what a super picture you part animals Hahahaha
-
Jazzygirl - Thanks
I've had 10 mg of Oxychodone twice today and have slept the greater portion if the day.
No news on my blood cultures yet. Probably not until tomorrow afternoon.
-
Sassy- doing well friend. Getting ready to head to my 40th high school reunion in a few weeks.Dang I am old!
Happy birthday too!
-
Junie I hope the results get back quickly. What a terrible thing! Oxycodone always knocks me out. But at least you aren’t feeling it while you are sleeping. Get better soon
-
Oh my goodness
Now, this is what I’m talking about👍👍👍👍.
Sas, Happy Birthday😀😀🎉🎉🎈🎈🍷🍷🍺🍺. You’re gonna be a grandma. Congratulations!!!!!!! My daughter’s birthday is Jan 28th. I always hated the month of January, then that changed of course when Reece was born. And guess what, her dad and I were 34 when she was born. I know your son and daughter in law are sooo excited😃😃😃
Beatmom
Wonderful pic of you and Mags. Thanks so much for sharing. Does her cousin still live with her?
Junie, I’m sorry about the cellulitis. I have to be honest, I’ve heard of it many times, but don’t know exactly what it is, and what causes it? Just glad the docs gave you pain meds, and you slept most of the day. I will checking in to see what you tell us about the blood culture.
Loverly
You’re so witty, and funny. Love the pics for Sas😂😂😂.
Shep
Glad to hear from you. I woke up everyone. Hahahaha
I’m happy to read all your posts. This forum is fun, and I look forward to reading about all you ladies every night.
It’s 1:00 in the morning, and I’m in bed with our 3 cats. Mary, the 23 pound cat is at my feet, Nicole, the crazy one, and Sebastian the growing kitten, are beside me. Mary is really attached to Reece, and usually sleeps with her, and when she’s with her Dad, Mary stays on her bed. Well, the boyfriend came over, and laid back Mary hates when he’s here. She gets jealous, and seems pissed at Reece. I never thought cats can be jealous, and possessive over their owners. It’s so true, our furry friends do own us.😺😺🐶🐶🐈🐈🐕🐕 -
I hate it when I wake up for no apparent reason and I’m scared. I don’t know/think I was having a bad dream. I just woke up and got scared. Now I’m wide awake. Yay. 1:40 am and I woke up the cat. He’s not real happy with me.
-
JunieB, I am sorry to hear you are back in the hospital. I'm holding you in my heart and prayers. Hang in there!
-
Goodmorning all,
It is 4:28 a.m. here in the North West. I was woken up by pain and the nurse brought me some meds. Now I am waiting for it to kick in.
TaRenee - I've had that happen before. For me it was always a bad dream that woke me and my heart would be pounding and I'd have an overwhelming sense of fear. I hope you were able to get back to sleep.
Jazzygirl - It is so good to see you back here. I hope you enjoy your upcoming reunion.
Sas - How exciting that you're gonna be a Grandma!
-
GET WELL SOON JunieB
-
Thank you Feline!
-
Junie: sorry about the cellulitis! Had it twice, no fun getting IV antibiotics. (What are you on?) I don't blame you for sleeping after an Oxycodone.
-
Queenie - I was initially on 3 IV antibiotics, but now on IV Zosyn. Because I am limited to using only my left arm for IV access, so they will be inserting a PICC line in my left arm, then I'll receive a daily infusion at the clinic for 10-12 days.

This is the 3rd time I've had this. 2015, last December and now.

Well another monkey wrench. My ANC tanked today. On Monday it was 1.49, today it was at .82
MO ordered an injection of Granix (similar to Nupogen). If my ANC is improved in the morning, they will be able to do the PICC line and they'll discharge me. If not, then I'll be here another day.
I miss my Kirbs terribly, but I know he's been having a blast with his Yorkie buddy named Freddy, at the trainers' house.
Last Monday evening is the last time I watered my Fushia, Hydrangea & Geranium. I had totally forgotten about them for the last few days, and when I remembered a little bit ago I was horrified. Thankfully I have one neighbor who loves plants and she said she go water them this evening. It will be a miracle if they're still alive.
Well that's all for now. I hope everyone is doing well and that you all sleep well.
Goodmorning Feline!
-
Good almost morning, Owlettes! Just a line to let you know I’m still kickin. I have a constant stream of volunteer sitters as I can’t be left unattended, but although I am a hermit, I do love people one on one.
I’m really concerned about my Rose. I joke about her punishing me for leaving her for 11 days, but this take she’s gotten carried away. She doesn’t even sleep on the bed any more. She’s slept on this bed since we brought her home 11 years ago, and since DH has been gone, she’s slept on his pillows. Now she’s taken to sleeping under the bed. She wants nothing to do with me. If I have her favorite treat, she’ll take it, but anything less appealing she walks away. It’s puzzling, confusing, angering, saddening… have I forgotten something? DH and DCused to get a laugh out of my calling her a manipulative bitch, but it’s literally true.
I have bribed her up onto the bed, and the pillows, we shall see how low long she stays.
Nini, Owlettes, sleep well.
