Armpit Pain

I posted this on another thread, but so far no input so I decided that maybe someone here might give some insight.

Has anyone ever had a bruised feeling in their armpit?  I had my left side mx in 06-2007 and lately I have been having a throbbing/bruised feeling in my right armpit that also seems to radiate to the breast..  I just had a physical and my PCP and all my bloodwork (CBC) was normal except low WBC, which is always normally low.  Any ideas?

prayrv  - when my truncal LE flares I get achy and tender in my axillary (arm pit) and breast and sometimes it just plain hurts!!!  Have you had an evaluation with a qualified lymphedema therapist???

I am not saying it is LE (and I am hoping it isn't) but it is something to rule out

prayrv - Lymphedema pain is what came to my mind as well.  I have it primarily in my fingers, but when I am having a flare ... I have armpit pain. 

 The links posted above are very helpful. 

I hope it isn't LE ... but I have the pain under my arm.

My issue is not on my bc side - it actually feels bumpy and bruised.

I don't believe LE is the issue here.  But I will do research as I did not consider it.

prayrv - I didn't read your initial post carefully enough ... sorry. Have you talked to/seen your onocologist?  I would call their office and tell them.  Hope you find the answer soon!

prayrv - sorry I guess I didn't read your original post very well either - It just instantly resonated with me and my LE.   LE is still a possibility, especially if you favor your MX side and have been over using the right arm. Please let us know if you get any resolution or answers.  HUGS!
