bio identical docs are EXPENSIVE!!

I called around in San diego for some bio docs and they want $395.00 for a consult even though she had blood work drawn at kaiser. They said they have to have a saliva test too.

I just don't get it. I hear way too often that all they do is check your symptoms and make sure your lab values aren't too high or too low...why in the heck is it so expensive?

 My sister doesn't barely have a dime to her name, so does she continue to get kaiser docs who dont believe in it?

My sister said she'd sometimes rather have the cancer than the menopause symptoms that are ruining her life.

Sorry for venting...
