    jpmercy, you are wrong. Oncotype is for ER+, with up to 3 positive nodes. I had two positive nodes. My Oncotype score came back 14 and I did NOT have chemo.

    Hi, just wanted to point out that the original post on this is from 2011.

    That is relevant because some of these decisions might have been different in 2015.

    Back when I was dx'ed it was very uncommon to opt out of chemo with a positive node.

    (I feel like I was one of the first on BCO)

    Now it is a common decision.

    Someone pointed out here that se's are different for everyone.

    The number that jumped out at me(at the time) was 2-4% have a serious medical issue as a result of chemo, that was about the same number as the benefit to me.

    I think even since 2011, the shift has been to rely more on oncotype.
