Skin Mets to Scalp - Symptoms?

Options

Does anyone know what the symptoms are for mets to the scalp?  I have an itchy spot on the back of my head near the top that will not go away, it itches almost all the time and it would be about the size of a quarter.  It drives me nuts.  My husband looked at it (many times!) and said there is nothing there.  Normally I would just say dry skin and be done with it.  This is going on 2 months and I don't really want to run to the doc because of an itchy scalp!  Just wondering if I should be concerned about this.....

Sounds a little like psoriasis to me.  Mine gets bad when my chemo stops working.  I use a perscription Lidex cream for it.  When you see the doc, you might suggest something like it. I also use a liquid generic version called Fluocinonide Topical Solution.  Both of these add moisture and stop the itching - got them from my dermatologist originally and have continued with the Onc.
