Date With The Radiologist

Well, back for moral support again, girls. I've enjoyed my SW Florida winter vacation but that gig's up now.

Tomorrow I have the 6 mth. check (mammo and ultrasound) of a post-biopsy lump/inflamed area in right breast (contralateral). The lump has definitely grown and feels exactly like the left breast cancer did.  Same position even. I did not feel good about the last biopsy procedure/accuracy.

I'm uncharacteristically worried for me.

Well the bad news is you are having to deal with this fear again...I am praying and waiting for the good news that this time is was wasted worry.  Keep us posted we'll all be worrying with you.

It's nothing until you know something. It could a benign cyst....Your on ALS and the chemo was suppose to help that breast as well-chances are your ok..Hang in there...Let us know...

Good News! The lump showed on ultrasound as the marker from the last biopsy with tissue grown around it. It is very hard and an irregular oval...very easy to feel. I was beginning to panic this morning when I thought how my world could be upside down again by the end of the day. I re-read all your messages while I waited and found I could breathe again. Thanks to every one of you. You,re the best!
