Dizziness from Herceptin?

Hello ladies,

I finished my year of Herceptin about six weeks ago. I have had episodes of dizziness and vertigo, which started about 6 months into the Herceptin treatment. Has anybody else had this as a side effect of Herceptin?

I dont have headaches or any other symptoms that might be associated with brain mets, but Im still a bit scared. Im seeing my onc on Thursday.

    Hi Lucy - I'm sorry you're going through this. Vertigo is awful - I had that prior to my BC dx - went to an ENT and he CURED it by performing something called an Epley Maneuver. Have you been to an ENT yet? It's common for women to get benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) - it can be caused by whiplash (in my case, it came from sitting in the front seat of many old wooden roller-coasters!)
