small cancer and no radiation

I'm glad you asked. I'm in a similar quandary.  DCIS in-situ stage 0, grade 2. I have no health insurance. I went to Mexico for the lumpectomy.

Lumpectomy specimen measured 3.6x3x1  cm --

DCIS w diameter of 0.6 cm (6mm))

All margins negative more than 1 cm from lesion

Axillary Sentinel Lymph Node with Hyperplasia negative.

I'm thinking doing Radiation is overkill at this point. But there are so many well-informed, well researched women here on this site -- just found it.  I was diagnosed in Jan. and surgery a month ago. 4 weeks - To radiate or not?

Started doing my own research but can already tell it's just the tip of the iceberg and the treatments and understanding of BD are fluid.  I have seen a naturopath and am taking DIM and Adrenal and other support.

I don't know. I thinking of treating this holistically and with change in diet. I am so flipping confused and there is resistance in my family and scare-mongers...and just when I think I'm comfortable with my decision I start to worry. Is this going ot be ongoing and the new normal na matter what I decide?

Thanks
