Side effect of Anastrozole

 I started on Anastrozole (Arimidex) on August 2010, it was fine till one month ago when I started  having joint pain in my neck shoulders and especially in my hands and mostly the left hand were they removed 22 Lymph nodes, its very weak, and severe pain in my thumb were I have difficulty to move it, the doctor is not sure if its from the Anastrozole or if its arthritis..Did any of you experienced the same symptoms..I was thinking to ask the doctor to change me  to Arimidex instead of generic , I am not sure if it makes a difference..Is anyone taking Anastrozole and the ones on Arimedex did you experience any side effects, please advice.

took Arimidex 3+ years with no major side effects ... switched to generic when it became available and nothing changed (except the smaller hit to my wallet.)
